Pregnancy and birth is not a structured framework. All we know is that it brings huge change into our lives. Whether it’s your first or fourth baby, it is a rollercoaster.
Our birth story matters, pregnancy matters and science now shows that babies in the womb receive chemical hormones through the placenta – adrenalin, oxytocin, serotonin, so the mother’s emotional state affects the child.
I’ve worked with lots of pregnant women to help them feel calm and connected to their baby. We’ve alleviated fears about birth, motherhood, and cleared issues around their own birth and how they were parented.
I know first hand how challenging pregnancy can be and how using these techniques, can truly help with all that you are having to deal with and think about.
You may have experienced deep trauma to do with birth. 1 in 3 women in the UK have had an abortion before they are 45 and 1 in 7 pregnancies end in miscarriage.
We will do deep work where you will feel safe and able to release traumas you may have been holding onto – so that you are able to be in a place of peace with what you’ve experienced.
Grief is not a linear process. It comes in waves and in different weathers. Together we will identify how bereavement has affected you. What is specifically coming up for you. You will be totally held in this space to process and release any shock and pain you’ve been feeling so that you feel freer and more able to enjoy life.
After clearing any traumas and dissolving unhelpful beliefs and fears we will focus on the birth you want.
This is not a magic wand, I don’t claim to have all the answers or that this work will give you the birth you focus on. However, it does help you feel calm and in control, more able to access resources that can help you.
That by actually voicing your desires, releasing your fears and focusing on a joyful birth where you are connected with your baby helps you make empowered choices.
As we will have built up rapport during your pregnancy, you can also keep a session for post-birth with baby.
Honestly, knowing you’ve got someone to work with you in the first couple of weeks after giving birth is extremely reassuring. I’m an experienced tapper and even with my second child, knowing I had a practitioner on hand to support me made a huge difference to my sleep deprived mind.
Pregnancy and maternity is a hugely creative time, and I love helping women tune in to what lights them up and create the time and space to explore it. Whether it’s painting, writing or creating a collage for your pregnancy – by the end of our sessions you’ll have some lovely keepsakes of this time in your life.

Your Consultation – The Road Map
This is to introduce you to our process, we will create a plan, discuss your situation and get to know each other.
I will also show you how to use EFT/Tapping and we will usually work on one belief/memory during this session.
Following this we will decide if we are a good match and on what timescale and support you desire during this important time.
